A concept design for a private family compound to provide a series of beach villas all serviced by common facilities including a gym and spa.

Fig. 2 - Oxfordshire Estate - Underway - completion 2025

A new build villa forming a modern country estate designed by SPINK. The villa follows classical proportion and form, with contemporary detailing, its facades are built in artisanal napped and coursed flint stone and the window linings, balconies and portico are all in solid Portland limestone. The 4.0m ceilings, and the grand windows provide views over Oxfordshire reaching as far as the eye can see.

Located on a Gulf beach island a client commission for a family holiday home. This architecturally sculptured villa was designed within the strict rules of the wider development and its façade will be in a timeless unfilled, honed travertine. SPINK undertook the design of the house and landscape, assist with the build management and will design and curate the furniture and artworks.

Fig. 4 - Riverside Pavilion - Underway

A Commission for SPINK to design and build a new riverside home to sit above the flood plane and replace the current Edwardian house. The new pavilion provides its bedroom suites around the interconnected living accommodation all overlooking its wild riverside landscape in front of a steep wooded backdrop.

This front line stone villa was designed in the 1980’s by renowned Spanish architect. Now almost 40 years old undergoing its first refurbishment designed by SPINK who will manage the development in partnership with a local counterparty.

Fig. 6 - Walled Hilltop Estate - Concept

Hilltop location overlooking the city and ocean beyond. SPINK have been commissioned to design and oversee the building of this grand contemporary family home.

Fig. 7 - Barn Studio - Due for completion 2026

A Grade II 1700’s barn located in AONB countryside, SPINK set out to design this new accommodation to both provide sustainable heating/cooling whilst perfectly preserving the fabric and appearance of this original farm building. SPINK have designed a new highly insulated shell to sit within a carefully restored rustic barn to provide an open plan studio style space of gallery like proportions.

A private commission for SPINK to design a new build family house, landscape, furnishings and provide management for its construction. The plot sits within a wider development and the villa design meets the local design constraints. The client seeks a restrained and calm contemporary interior with emphasis on quality of design detail across the villa's 20,000 sqft.

Fig. 9 - The Peak - Due for completion 2026

A former hunting lodge located on the highest point of a wild moorland in West Cornwall. SPINK have designed a modest extension and sensitive restorations which together with a new interior will provide one of the most stunning small coastal houses in the UK. This small lodge house sits within the stunningly beautiful UNESCO world heritage site and amongst National Trust owned and managed SSSI landscape. The property is to be entirely off grid and eco powered.
