An English country estate near Henley-on-Thames. SPINK designed, managed and curated the build, furnishings and landscape. At its heart was the new-build classical manor house designed in Palladio order with its living accommodation on two floors. Underneath the house sits a private spa and extensive back-of-house service accommodation. The main house was further supplemented by a ‘staff village’, walled kitchen garden and a discreet tunnel leading to a private Thames river-side dining pavilion and a wet boat house. This project was the culmination of 10 years of work, dealing with the authorities on Grade II listed parkland in the protected greenbelt.
